Design Narrative

  • Thrive Pediatrics is a holistic pediatric practice that provides care for children from prenatal to 18 years old in Elgin, IL.

  • Thrive Pediatrics was preparing for the grand opening of their practice. They needed a full launch package from strategy, branding, and website design to enhanced WordPress integrations and content creation.

 The Process

  • Our launch strategy emphasized the pediatrician’s commitment to fostering healthy growth and development. We put together primary and secondary audience profiles that would benefit from working with a holistic healthcare provider. The goal was to get and retain patients at the practice with a focus on their foundational message - their passion for working with children - and patients/parents needed to feel like they were part of their child’s wellness from start to finish.

  • My team crafted a digital marketing plan to reach patients at multiple touchpoints and establish Thrive Pediatrics as a trusted partner in every child's journey to well-being. A full visual identity package, website design, signage for the physical practice, social graphics, marketing collateral, and apparel designs were part of the launch strategy aimed at appealing to patients and welcoming them as part of the Thrive Pediatrics family.

  • I directed my team towards a strategy that would be extremely user-friendly for all patients. A complete visual identity package was created, including a logo and business card design, brand guidelines, and signage for the physical practice. A custom 16-page website was designed using the brand’s design system that we put into place. The website hosted integrations, including a patient portal, scheduling functionality, patient reminder messages, and billing through the website. The website provided clear information patients would be looking for, like accepted insurance, services, and more. We designed marketing collateral, print materials, and digital brochure downloads for patients. Maintaining consistency across platforms, colors, typography, and mediums ensured a cohesive brand identity, effectively communicating the practice’s holistic care message and appealing to the target audience.

  • With over 100 billion Google searches relating to healthcare per year, our mission was to help patients find Thrive Pediatrics online. Within the first 3 months, Thrive had 51.5k website visits with an extremely low bounce rate of 1.06%. Our organic social media approach generated 526 new Facebook followers. Thrive has grown to three providers and many medical assistants. They currently see hundreds of patients per month.
